Business Resilience

Resilience

  • Would you and your team like to feel more positive and strong?
  • Is your business losing productivity through diminishing performance?

We live in a resilience reducing world. Technology, global working, the drive for productivity, career expectations, lack of work-family balance, lack of sleep and lack of personal balance all contribute to high levels of reported stress, higher than needed absence and a financial hit on business which amounts to millions.

deWinton-Williams has a track record in helping individuals and teams increase their personal and leadership resilience. Our ethos is simple – there is no magic bullet – you need to attend to mind, body and soul. Our solutions are designed to assist individuals and teams to build their strength and be better able to bounce back from tough times.

Our solutions include:

  • Resilience training
  • Team resilience
  • Resilience retreats

Resilience Training

Our approach to resilience is based on reality. We do not preach that stress is just a state of mind. Instead, we encourage people to accept pressure as part of life and that a better solution is to build the resilience to deal with it.

Our resilience training takes various formats including:

  • Webinars – our advisory webinars give pragmatic advice on such subjects as working alone, mental strength, the science of sleep, leading through tough times, spotting and managing low resilience in others. Look at our webinar page to see the publicly available solutions.
  • Resilience sessions – we can run a half-day or whole day programme which train people in the theory and tactics of resilience.
  • Coaching – our psychologist coaches are experienced in coaching leaders who are facing the challenge of working through difficult times or getting back to a healthy state of balance to ensure they are growing as a person as well as delivering to their business.

Team Resilience

Teams which pull together, rise together. Our approach to team resilience is designed to create high performing teams through a range of techniques all focussed on strengthening communication, collaboration and co-operation.

Our team solutions can include:

  • Team profiling to drive understanding and enhanced communication
  • Analysis of performance using the High Performing Team Model
  • Tactics for working as a virtual team through technology
  • Group work to identify stressors and obstacles
  • Facilitated co-operation and collaboration around problem solving
  • Work to break down barriers and address conflicts
  • Critical incident analysis to identify solutions to build greater team resourcefulness in future challenges
  • Training in spotting low resilience and leadership action to manage it quickly

Team Resilience Retreats

Sometimes leaders need to change the view of their world. We help them get away, take stock, change negative habits which reduce mental and physical power, learn powerful techniques for building resilience and then create a plan for personal strength and wellbeing. A resilience retreat is not a jolly – it is time to challenge and start afresh with a new strategy for personal balance.

We partner with other professionals to create an experience which can include:

  • The psychology of resilience
  • Physical resilience through diet and body management
  • Creative sessions to unlock personal blocks
  • Team challenges to move from leader to colleague
  • Personal coaching to unlock challenges and reach personal potential
  • Exercise sessions to drive new habits in self-care
  • Relaxation sessions to learn the art of mind-clearing
